The patterns formed by the skin on the tips of our fingers stays the same throughout our lives. Also, no two people on Earth have the same fingerprints. Police collect the fingerprints of criminals so that they can identify them. They sort fingerprints into a number of different types.

Science and Technology

In Science and Technology we are exploring electricity. For one of their assessment tasks students are to design a simple electrical circuit. This may take the form of a circuit diagram, a PowerPoint presentation or an actual electrical circuit. If the choice is made to make the electrical circuit please ensure it has a switching mechanism to turn the device on and off.  This task is due on Friday 23 November.

School Performance Day
The school Performance Day/Night is the 12 Dec 2012 and 6W are performing a short play and a song titled ‘The Wise Guys Rap’. The children will need to be in costumes for this performance. They will need to dress as people of Jerusalem at the time of the birth of Jesus. In particular, they will be miming roles of Jerusalem business e.g. shopping, sweeping, talking, trading etc. Please assist your child in putting together a costume for this exciting upcoming event.

Reminder: Homework is required to be completed each week. Please use the Student Diary, which is required to be signed weekly, if circumstances prevent homework from being completed.
